The Embassy of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) is currently looking for a full-time Researcher (37.5 hours a week) or part-time (30 hours a week) Researcher. The Researcher will be providing support to the Korean diplomatic staff, mainly in the field of political and economic.

ㅇ Main responsibilities:
  - On request of the above staff, conduct researches into Dutch systems, policies, and events. 
  - Follow and report on political and economic developments in the Netherlands. Reporting will be done in English.
  - Making appointments for Korean incoming delegations which are visiting the Netherlands.
  - Establishing and maintaining contacts with Dutch government officials (mainly Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
  - Assist with organization of events, such as receptions and seminars, hosted by the Embassy.

ㅇ Required skills and abilities:
  - Finished master degree in field of social sciences, regional studies, political science, international relations, history, or any other relevant studies.
  - Desired working experience: 0-3 years
  - Fluency in Dutch and English, both oral and writing skills.
  - Good communication skills.
  - Affinity with political and economic affairs concerning the Netherlands and Korea, both domestically and internationally.
  - Understanding of political processes in Dutch political system and legislation. Basic understanding of the relation of EU law to Dutch national law is preferred.
  - Ability to work in and adapt to a Korean professional environment.
  - Ability to deal with unpredictable workload, including the ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines.
